Organisational Development (OD) is a dynamic and values based approach to system change in organisations. The focus is on building the organisation's ability to assess its current functioning to achieve its goals.
OD applies behavioural science knowledge and practices to help organisations to build capacity to change and to achieve greater effectiveness, including increased financial performance and improved quality of work life.
The Organisational Development Team at MCHFT are partners in the delivery of internal and external change projects and the transformation of services. Supporting staff to build organisational readiness for change through effective leadership and staff engagement.
The OD team are involved in building management and leadership capability at all levels of the Trust, through the delivery of management & leadership development and the Coaching for Quality Framework.
We support the development and implementation of leadership and management development programmes across the Trust, as well as delivering training in Resilience and Change.
The OD Team, also lead on Investors in People, the National Staff Survey, Psychometrics and project lead the Trust's Annual Celebration of Achievement Evening.
